What’s a piece of advice you’ve received that’s stuck with you throughout your career?
It’s important to step away from the tree bark and look at the entire forest….every small detail massively contributes to the whole picture.
Do you ever find yourself making mixing choices in everyday (real) life?
All the time! It sometimes takes more work to turn that part of my brain off. I like to sample sounds wherever I’m at and store them for later. Sometimes I’ll have to step away from an activity like watching a film or television if I get too hyper focused on their creative choices. It's a skill I carry everywhere!
